When I became co-owner of Crown Street Roasting Company with my husband Nick, I knew it wasn’t a decision to be taken lightly. Nick is a visionary—he focuses on the big picture and long-term strategy. I, on the other hand, am more immersed in the day-to-day operations, continually improving our services, streamlining communication, and pushing our team to evolve. Nick is meticulous with financials and excels at keeping detailed records, while I handle marketing, manage our social media, and communicate with clients and customers.

We each bring different strengths to the table, and together they create a solid foundation for our business. We’ve built a rhythm, constantly communicating and setting aside time for weekly meetings where we focus solely on our roles as business owners.
